i am just a simple puppet,
my love for you the strings
your words and actions the fingers
that control even what i think
enchanted by your charm
my wooden knees would give way
weak am i whence hearing your words
oh how my heart would sway.
but i am just your puppet
where did my heart come from?
maybe i do not have a heart
oh please tell me i am wrong.
these feelings i have for you
are the only things keeping me alive
if you tell me i have no heart at all
i just might finally die.

this poem was from my old blog. i wrote it myself and at the risk of being shameless, i love it... so i brought it over here. this is hopefully the only piece of my old blog i'm gonna bring here.
